DOOM: The Dark Ages will allow players to make demons less aggressive in the settings
DOOM: The Dark Ages, launching May 15th, aims for maximum accessibility. Unlike previous id Software titles, it boasts extensive customization options, a key focus for executive producer Marty Stratton. This commitment to broad appeal extends to gameplay adjustments.
Players can fine-tune enemy difficulty and damage, projectile speed and impact, and even broader game elements such as pace, aggression, and parry timing. Crucially, Stratton confirmed that the narratives of DOOM: The Dark Ages and DOOM: Eternal are independently understandable.

Ray tracing enhances the visceral brutality and destruction, adding realistic shadows and dynamic lighting.
