Krafton's latest venture, inZOI, has swiftly surged to success, selling an impressive 1 million copies within just one week of its launch. This marks the fastest sales milestone achieved by any game published by the South Korean giant, Krafton. Launched on PC through Steam in Early Access on March 28, inZOI quickly captured the gaming community's attention, despite a controversial start due to an unintended bug allowing players to harm children, which Krafton promptly addressed and fixed.

Despite this early hiccup, inZOI has earned a 'very positive' user review rating on Steam and saw a peak of 175,000 concurrent viewers on Twitch, placing it third in the Games category. The game soared to the top of Steam's Global Top Sellers List just 40 minutes after its release, showcasing its immediate appeal to players. Furthermore, Canvas, inZOI's in-game platform for sharing user-generated content (UGC), attracted over 1.2 million participants on its launch day, with more than 470,000 pieces of content uploaded.

IGN's Early Access review of inZOI scored it a 6/10, praising its visual appeal and ambition but noting a lack of depth at launch. Krafton credits its pre-launch promotional efforts and active community engagement for building trust and momentum leading up to the release. The inZOI global showcase and demo build were particularly effective in generating high interest, according to Krafton.

CEO CH Kim expressed gratitude and excitement for presenting inZOI to players worldwide via Early Access, emphasizing Krafton's commitment to continuous communication with the community and fostering inZOI as a long-term franchise IP.

Looking ahead, Krafton has promised future updates that will include new content, mod support, and new cities, with all updates and DLC being free until the game's full release. In response to player feedback and reported issues, Krafton committed to applying quick fixes through hotfixes in April. The company acknowledges the scale of inZOI's global community as a "next-level experience," admitting to some trial and error in optimizing communication with its players.
