Land vehicle performance calculator for accurate simulations.

MotorSim 2 is a specialized calculator for land vehicles (important: this is not a driving game but a physics-based simulation tool focused on straight-line acceleration performance).

MotorSim 2 lets you customize technical specifications and computes the corresponding performance metrics. The interactive simulator features a speedometer, RPM gauge, throttle/brake controls, and gear shifting (manual or automatic) with procedurally generated engine sounds (non-sampled). It displays vehicle movement across a 1/4-mile track and enables users to save performance data as ghost profiles for later comparison with other configurations.

Configurable vehicle parameters include:

- Maximum power output

- Customizable power curve (adjustable point-by-point)

- Torque curve (automatically calculated from power curve since power = torque × RPM)

- Engine RPM limit (cutoff threshold)

- Gearbox setup (supports up to 10 gears)

- Aerodynamic and rolling resistance coefficients (Cx, frontal area)

- Total vehicle weight

- Wheel/Tire dimensions

- Gearshift duration

- Drivetrain efficiency

The tool calculates key performance indicators such as:

- Top speed

- Acceleration times (0-60, 0-100, 0-200, etc.)

- Any additional metrics measurable through the interactive simulator
