Chadwick Boseman to Receive Hollywood Walk of Fame Star This Month

Chadwick Boseman, the acclaimed actor recognized for his role as T'Challa in the MCU, will be honored with a posthumous star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame on November 20, according to the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce.

This update is shared by Variety, which notes that the ceremony will occur at 11:30am PT on that day. Earlier, the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce had stated that Boseman would be included in the 2024 class of honorees.

Boseman passed away in 2020 at age 43 due to colon cancer, which he fought privately while still working. He is most famous for his role as T'Challa in Black Panther and other MCU films, a part he continued until his death in the MCU series What If...?, earning a posthumous Primetime Emmy Award for his work.

Throughout his 27-year career, Boseman appeared in many projects, including portraying Jackie Robinson in 42 and Thurgood Marshall in Marshall. His last film role was as Levee Green in Ma Rainey's Black Bottom, which earned him a Golden Globe and a SAG Award for best actor, along with an Oscar nomination.
