Hit Superhero Comedy Dispatch Will Soon No Longer Be PlayStation Console Exclusive
Superhero workplace comedy game Dispatch has just landed on the Nintendo eShop for Switch and Switch 2, and is now available to pre-order.
There’s been no official statement from developer AdHoc Studio yet, but the Nintendo eShop listing is live in Australia, where Switch owners can pre-order the game. A release date has even been confirmed: January 29, 2026.
Nintendo Switch 2 owners will get a free upgrade pack to download separately, offering a higher-resolution version with smoother frame rates. For now, there’s no indication the game is coming to Xbox—though we’ll update this page as soon as AdHoc makes an official announcement.
Dispatch first launched in October for PC and PlayStation 5, quickly winning over a devoted fanbase with its quirky, episodic storytelling, and sold 2 million copies within its first month—far outpacing its team’s original two-year sales projection.
The game features an ensemble cast of heroes voiced by acclaimed actors including Aaron Paul, Laura Bailey, Jeffrey Wright, and Matthew Mercer, and was developed by key veterans from Telltale Games’ golden era, who previously worked on The Walking Dead, The Wolf Among Us, and Tales from the Borderlands.
"Dispatch is a sharp-witted workplace comedy that charms with its clever dialogue, sharp writing, and a lovably frustrating cast," IGN wrote in our Dispatch review, awarding the game a stellar 9/10.
