Warhammer 40K Space Marine 2 DRM or Denuvo Requirements?

In a recent FAQ, Saber Interactive clarified that Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 will launch on September 9th without DRM such as Denuvo. While DRM is often used to combat piracy, it's known to sometimes negatively affect game performance. The developers have opted for a smoother player experience.

Although DRM is absent, the PC version will utilize Easy Anti-Cheat software at launch. While Easy Anti-Cheat has faced scrutiny in the past, Saber Interactive aims to maintain fair play without compromising performance.

The absence of planned official mod support might disappoint some, but the game boasts a PvP arena, horde mode, and a comprehensive photo mode. Importantly, Saber Interactive assures players that all core gameplay content is free, with microtransactions and DLC restricted to cosmetic items only.
