World of Warcraft Has Good News for Players Who Forgot to Spend Their Anniversary Event Currency
World of Warcraft's Patch 11.1 will automatically convert leftover Bronze Celebration Tokens into Timewarped Badges. This conversion, at a rate of 1 Bronze Celebration Token to 20 Timewarped Badges, will occur upon players' first login after the patch launches.
The 20th-anniversary event, concluding on January 7th, allowed players to accumulate Bronze Celebration Tokens used for purchasing revamped Tier 2 sets and anniversary collectibles. Any remaining tokens will now be converted to the Timewalking currency, Timewarped Badges. Blizzard confirmed no future use for Bronze Celebration Tokens. This automatic conversion prevents players from having useless currency entries.
While a precise release date for Patch 11.1 is unavailable, February 25th is a strong contender, aligning with Blizzard's recent release schedule and following the conclusion of in-game events. This means the conversion will likely occur after the second Turbulent Timeways event ends. Timewarped Badges can be used in various Timewalking events, with no planned removal of rewards.
World of Warcraft Bronze Celebration Token Auto-Conversion in Patch 11.1
This automatic conversion ensures players don't lose out on the value of their unused Bronze Celebration Tokens. The conversion will happen seamlessly upon login, providing players with a useful currency for future Timewalking activities. The lack of a concrete release date for Patch 11.1 leaves the exact timing of the conversion slightly uncertain, but it's expected soon after the conclusion of current in-game events.
