Thanks to TrueTrophies' collaboration with GameInsights, they analyzed data from over 3.1 million active PSN accounts, enabling them to monitor player engagement across all PS5 and PS4 games. Their analysis revealed a 40.14% increase in Stellar Blade's player count post-update.

Notably, Stellar Blade was not discounted on the PS Store during this period, suggesting that the spike in player numbers was driven by the new content rather than sales. Despite the absence of the much-anticipated photo mode and the time-sensitive nature of the update, the increase was substantial enough to rekindle fan enthusiasm.

The summer update introduced a limited-time summer vacation area at the Great Desert Oasis, featuring new background music and interactive sunbeds. Two new outfits were added to complement the summer theme, available at Clyde’s shop. Additionally, the update resolved several issues, including a fix for the hair color in the Boss Challenge Preset, alongside other bug fixes.

Stellar Blade, exclusively launched on PS5 on April 26, 2024, received widespread acclaim for its fast-paced combat and breathtaking visuals.
