Spring Hunt 2025 Update Now Live in Monster Hunter!

As part of the second update in Season 5: The Blossoming Blade, Monster Hunter Now is launching a thrilling event called Spring Hunt 2025. This online paid event is set to run from May 24th to May 25th, 2025, and promises an exciting focus on the elusive elder dragon, Chameleos.

What’s the Spring Hunt 2025 in Monster Hunter Now?

Spring Hunt 2025 is a special event where you'll need an event ticket, available for purchase from the Monster Hunter Now shop. This ticket unlocks uninterrupted Elder Dragon Interceptions, exclusively featuring Chameleos, meaning no waiting times between Interceptions and Hunt-a-thons. Additionally, participants will have the opportunity to claim exclusive Chameleos-themed layered gear.

During the event, two Event Exchange Hubs will be accessible. The Spring Hunt Eve Exchange Hub will be open from May 19th at 9:00 a.m. until June 2nd at 11:59 p.m. You can earn tokens by defeating large monsters or elder dragons between May 19th and May 25th, which can then be exchanged for valuable items such as a Silver Rathalos Plate, Glavenus Plate, Wyvern Gem Shard, and more.

Eager to Get Your Hands on Chameleos?

Chameleos, renowned for its stealthy maneuvers and its ability to emit a disorienting fog, will be the star of the show starting May 24th, 2025. Players can engage in Elder Dragon Interceptions to confront this elusive creature. If you're ranked 100 or above, you'll have the chance to encounter Chameleos in 8-star Elder Dragon Interceptions once they enter a preliminary state, starting at 9:00 a.m. on the 24th. To tackle Chameleos effectively, arm yourself with weapons and skills that exploit its vulnerabilities to Fire, Dragon, and Blast.

Successfully defeating Chameleos will reward you with materials to forge the new Mizuha Set armor, which includes the Chameleos Venomist skill. This skill reduces the duration of poison and venom effects by half and enhances your ability to inflict poison on enemies. With Chameleos materials, you can craft an array of weapons including Dual Blades, Great Sword, Long Sword, Hammer, Gunlance, Switch Axe, Charge Blade, and Bow.
