Sony Unveils Sleek Midnight Black PlayStation 5 Accessory Collection

Sony has announced a stylish new Midnight Black Collection for the PlayStation 5, adding a touch of darkness to its popular accessories. The collection includes the DualSense Edge wireless controller, PlayStation Portal handheld, Pulse Elite wireless headset, and Pulse Explore wireless earbuds.

This sophisticated lineup offers a premium aesthetic upgrade for PS5 owners. All items sport a sleek, midnight black finish. The DualSense Edge controller, notably, also includes a matching black carrying case.

Pricing for the collection is as follows:

Note that the Pulse Elite headset's price is higher than its predecessor, the Pulse 3D wireless headset. Both the headset and earbuds will come packaged in a felt gray case, a subtle departure from the black theme.

Pre-orders for the Midnight Black Collection begin January 16th, 2025, at 10 AM ET, exclusively through direct.playstation.com. The full launch is scheduled for February 20th, 2025.
