Nexon Announces the EOS of Dynasty Warriors M Just a Year After Its Launch

Nexon bids farewell to Dynasty Warriors M, the mobile adaptation of the popular Dynasty Warriors franchise. The game's servers will officially shut down on February 20th, 2025, marking the end of epic battles and strategic conquests within the Three Kingdoms.

In-app purchases were suspended on December 19th, 2024. While Nexon expressed gratitude to the community, the reasons behind the game's closure remain unstated. Given the game's relatively short lifespan (launched November 2023) and reportedly underwhelming performance, the announcement comes as little surprise.

Dynasty Warriors M offered a unique blend of classic Musou action and strategic gameplay. Players could collect and develop 50 officers across five factions, battling across a vast map encompassing 13 regions and 500 stages. The story mode recreated iconic historical events such as the Yellow Turban Rebellion and the Battle of Luoyang.

Players wishing to experience Dynasty Warriors M before its end-of-service date can download it from the Google Play Store. A final chapter update is planned for release this month.
