Netmarble’s Beat 'Em Up King Of Fighters ALLSTAR Is Shutting Down Soon
Netmarble's popular action RPG, King of Fighters ALLSTAR, is set to conclude its run on October 30th, 2024. This announcement, recently made on the official Netmarble forums, marks the end of over six years of intense fighting game action and crossovers.
The in-game store has already been closed since June 26th, 2024, so no further in-game purchases are possible. While the game enjoyed considerable success, boasting millions of downloads and positive player feedback praising its animations and PvP battles, the developers hinted at a potential shortage of characters to adapt as a contributing factor to its closure. Other unstated issues, possibly including recent optimization problems and crashes, likely played a role as well.
Players still interested in experiencing King of Fighters ALLSTAR have approximately four months remaining before the servers shut down. This allows ample time to engage in the game's legendary battles and diverse roster of fighters. Download the game from the Google Play Store before October to enjoy one last round.
