Mecha BREAK Developers Considering Making All Mechs Free

Mecha BREAK May Unlock All Starting Mechs Following Player Feedback

The multiplayer mech game, Mecha BREAK, successfully concluded its open beta test on Steam on March 16. It attracted over 300,000 players at its peak and now ranks as the 5th most wishlisted game on the platform. This overwhelming response has led Chinese developer Amazing Seasun to seriously consider implementing changes, particularly around the availability of Break Strikers (Mechs) and the use of mech modules in both 3v3 and 6v6 competitive modes.

While the developer is still evaluating these potential changes, they remain committed to a live service model for the game's launch, which they believe is crucial for its long-term success. Initially, players could only access one Break Striker at the start of the game. To unlock the full roster of 12 Break Strikers, players must earn in-game currency through numerous multiplayer matches, a process that can be quite time-consuming.
