Marvel Contest of Champions Boosts FPS for Halloween Celebration!

Marvel Contest of Champions is bringing the chills this Halloween with an exciting new update that's perfect for fans of spooky fun. As part of both the Halloween festivities and the game's ongoing 10th Anniversary celebration, players have plenty of reasons to jump back into The Battlerealm.

The Halloween Event Is Now In Full Swing In Marvel Contest of Champions

This year's update is brimming with eerie characters and thrilling challenges. Introducing two new champions: Scream and Jack O’ Lantern. Scream, a vengeful symbiote, is already known to many, while Jack O’ Lantern brings a chilling backstory of turning victims into eerie jack-o-lanterns. These additions will make the House of Horrors event even more exciting as you join Jessica Jones on her quest to solve a dark mystery leading to a carnival of animatronic nightmares.

Additionally, Jack’s Bounty-full Hunt is now underway, where Jack O’ Lantern invites warriors to battle in gladiator-style challenges. This side quest, running from October 9th to November 6th, offers weekly challenges and various paths for players to explore, with Jack reveling in the chaos as others fight to survive.

It’s Also Their 10th Anniversary

The Halloween takeover coincides with Marvel Contest of Champions' 10th Anniversary. Kabam is celebrating a decade of action-packed gameplay with 10 spectacular reveals. The festivities have already started with reworks for Medusa and Purgatory.

Deadpool’s Ultimate Multiplayer Bonanza introduces an Alliance Super Season, allowing players to team up for bounty missions. The celebrations also include Venom-themed content with the Venom: Last Dance event, running from October 21st to November 15th. Meanwhile, the Anniversary Battlegrounds Season 22, featuring new buffs and critical hit advantages, is currently underway until October 30th.

60 FPS Is Coming Soon!

Kabam is enhancing the gaming experience with a 60 FPS gameplay update, set to launch on November 4th. This will make the action smoother than ever, improving upon the current 30 FPS lock.
