Marvel Rivals Season 1: Dracula, Fantastic Four, and Balance Changes Detailed

NetEase Games' developer update reveals exciting changes coming to Marvel Rivals in Season 1: Eternal Night Falls, launching January 10th at 1 AM PST. This season introduces Dracula as the primary antagonist and welcomes the Fantastic Four to the roster. Mister Fantastic and the Invisible Woman arrive at launch, with Human Torch and the Thing joining the fray six to seven weeks later.

The Season 1 battle pass, priced at 990 Lattice (approximately $10), offers 10 skins and rewards players with 600 Lattice and 600 Units upon completion. Three new maps and a new game mode, "Doom Match," will also debut.

Significant balance adjustments are planned. Hela and Hawkeye, deemed overpowered in Season 0, will receive nerfs. Conversely, mobility-focused Vanguards, such as Captain America and Venom, will receive buffs to enhance their effectiveness. Wolverine and Storm will also see buffs, encouraging diverse strategic play. Cloak and Dagger will receive adjustments to improve their team compatibility. Finally, Jeff the Land Shark's ultimate ability will be tweaked to better align its hitbox with its warning indicators. No major changes to its power level have been announced.

While NetEase Games remained silent on adjustments to the Seasonal Bonus feature, it's anticipated that some heroes will see their bonuses altered. Season 1 promises a wealth of new content and balance refinements, generating considerable player anticipation.
