Merchant Tamao

Merchant Tamao deals in contraband and doesn't hide his operations well. Bypass the intel-gathering phase and head directly to the Yamashiro region. Navigate to Kyoto, the central sprawling city, and locate Honpoji Temple on its eastern side.

From the temple, move west to find Merchant Tamao concealed in his brewery. Eavesdrop on his staff to learn he's refusing to come out. To lure him out, smash the barrels in the courtyard. Once he emerges, confront him and proceed to your next target.

Merchant Kanta

You can decide to eliminate him for his involvement with the Iron Hand, or search nearby huts for a crucial letter that allows him to escape your judgment. Depending on your choice, he either perishes or continues his business with the legitimate House Imai, gaining access to wealthier clients in Sakai Port.

Merchant Kin-no-suke

Merchant Kin-no-suke's ostentatious displays of wealth raise suspicions, compounded by his use of bandits to steal from others to bolster his business. This warrants an investigation by Naoe and Yasuke. Travel to the city of Obama in Wakasa, just east of the Trading Port, to find him.

Surrounded by bodyguards, you'll need to deal with them first. A smoke bomb and swift assassinations can be effective, ensuring Kin-no-suke meets his end.

Iron Hand

Finally, you'll confront the head of the syndicate, the Iron Hand, located in a heavily fortified area. Prepare for a challenging battle as you make your way to Fukuchiyama Castle in the Tamba region, near the center.

Approach from the south side of the castle walls to locate the Iron Hand. He's a formidable opponent, supported by numerous guards. It's advisable to take out the guards stealthily before engaging him directly. Once the Iron Hand is defeated, return to Imai Sokun to claim your rewards.
