Metaphor: ReFantazio Party Member Recruitment Guide: A Detailed Timeline

Beyond the protagonist, seven companions will join your adventuring party in Metaphor: ReFantazio. While Gallica is present from the outset, her combat participation is limited. Each additional party member joins on specific in-game dates during pivotal story events. Note: Reading this guide may reveal minor story spoilers regarding party member recruitment.

Party Member Recruitment Schedule:

Each party member awakens to their unique Archetype, usable by any party member after awakening. Early recruits may initially be AI-controlled before gaining full player control upon Archetype awakening.

• Strohl (Warrior): Joins on June 5th during the Border Fort events. Awakens to his Archetype the following day, June 6th, in the Nord Mines, becoming fully controllable.

• Grius: Joins after the Border Fort events, but participates in combat from June 6th onwards. While he doesn't undergo an Archetype awakening like others, he becomes a controllable party member after Strohl's awakening.

• Hulkenberg (Knight): Begins interacting with the party on June 10th. Fully joins and awakens to her Archetype during the boss fight on June 11th.

• Heismay (Thief): His awakening and party integration occur on July 4th within Martira's main dungeon.

• Junah (Masked Dancer): Joins the party upon her Archetype awakening on August 13th.

• Eupha (Summoner): Eupha's recruitment offers more flexibility. Completing the Dragon Temple Dungeon anytime between August 19th and September 4th during Viraga Island's free time period adds her to the party for the final boss. Her Bond quest, however, begins after this deadline.

• Basilio (Berserker): Awakens and joins during the Saint's Day events on September 11th. He becomes fully controllable the following day, if desired.
