Dead by Daylight's Terrifying Junji Ito Collection: Eight New Skins Unveiled!

The asymmetrical horror multiplayer game, Dead by Daylight (DbD), is thrilled to announce an exclusive collaboration with renowned Japanese horror manga artist, Junji Ito. This "ultimate horror collaboration" brings eight terrifying new character skins inspired by Ito's iconic works to the game.

A Collection of Nightmares

For 40 years, Junji Ito has captivated audiences worldwide with his unique, macabre storytelling and surrealist art style. Now, his chilling creations are entering the world of Dead by Daylight.

The collection features skins based on several of Ito's most famous works, including "Tomie," "Hanging Balloons," and "Rumors." Killers receiving new skins include The Dredge, The Trickster, The Twins, The Spirit, and The Artist. The Spirit and The Artist will boast Legendary rarity skins, complete with updated audio and sound effects. Specifically, The Spirit gets a Tomie skin, and The Artist transforms into Miss Fuchi (from "Rumors"). Survivors Yui Kimura, Yun-Jin Lee, and Kate Denson also receive new Ito-inspired looks.

Junji Ito himself was involved in bringing his characters to life within Dead by Daylight. In a video shared on Dead by Daylight's official X (formerly Twitter) account, Ito expressed his delight at seeing his creations in the game, commenting on how they became even more terrifying in their new form. He even participated in a gameplay session, playing as The Artist with her Miss Fuchi skin.

The Junji Ito Collection will be available starting January 7th, 2025, on PC, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch. Prepare for a truly chilling experience!
