"Guide to Obtaining a Mount in Rune Slayer"

A key feature of any MMORPG is the ability to use mounts, and *Rune Slayer* allows players to do just that. Before you start speeding through the world of *Rune Slayer*, make sure you meet these prerequisites:

• Be level 20: Reaching this level should take you about 5-6 hours, or less with friends. Just keep completing quests, jobs, and defeating mobs.
• Have a tamed Pet: You'll receive a quest that teaches you how to tame a pet. The process is simple:
  • Find an animal you want to tame (e.g., Deer, Wolf, Spider).
  • Attack it once.
  • Take out and hold a food item that the animal likes (e.g., Apples for Deer, Raw Deer Meat for Wolves).
  • A Heart should appear above their heads, indicating the taming attempt.
  • If the heart grows fully, the animal will become your pet.
  • If the heart turns black, the taming attempt has failed. Try again with another animal.

Once you've reached level 20 and tamed a pet, you're ready for the next step.

Finish the Mount Quest

Upon reaching level 20, visit **Jimmy the Stable Master in Wayshire**. He'll offer you the quest "Jimmy's Delivery", which requires you to deliver a package to the Stable Master in Ashenshire. Here's how to complete it:

• Accept “Jimmy’s Delivery” quest and head north through Wayshire’s northern entrance.
• Follow the road and climb over the hill into Greatwood Forest. Stay on the path to avoid the tougher mobs.
• Continue north until you reach Ashenshire, recognizable by the large houses built on trees.

In Ashenshire, find and interact with the **rope** to climb up. The first NPC you'll encounter is **Madonna the Stable Master**. Speak to her and select **"I have a package for you."** She will accept the package. Return to Wayshire by heading south.

Back in Wayshire, **talk to Jimmy the Stable Master** again (marked by an exclamation point) to receive your reward: **A Saddle**. The Saddle won't appear in your inventory to prevent accidental loss or sale.

How to mount your pet in Rune Slayer

To mount your pet after receiving the saddle, **summon your pet by holding "T"**. Approach your pet, and you'll see the **“Mount” option**. Press **"E"** to mount your pet. This method works with all mountable pets.
