EA Unveils The Sims 4: Businesses & Hobbies Gameplay
Electronic Arts has just unveiled the exciting Businesses and Hobbies expansion for The Sims 4, and they've released a brand-new gameplay trailer that gives us an in-depth look at what’s in store. If you're a fan of The Sims 2: Open for Business or The Sims 2: Freetime, you'll find yourself right at home with this expansion, as it draws inspiration from both while expanding on the career paths introduced in The Sims 4: Get to Work and adding a range of new hobbies for your Sims to dive into.
But running a business in this expansion goes beyond just managing a tattoo parlor. Virtually any in-game activity can be transformed into a lucrative business opportunity. Dreaming of starting a daycare for toddlers? You can do that. Interested in giving paid lectures? That’s an option too—and it can be quite rewarding financially!
No business can succeed without a team, and in this expansion, each business can employ up to three Sims, though you can also opt for a family-run operation if you prefer.
One of the most thrilling features is the integration with previous expansions. If you own The Sims 4: Cats & Dogs, you can even open your own cat café, merging your love for pets and business!
Turn your passion into a career by opening a ceramics shop, tattoo studio, or training workshop. You can charge customers by the hour or with a one-time entry fee. If you're into body art, you'll also have the chance to create your own unique tattoos!
The Businesses & Hobbies expansion is set to launch on March 6. Pre-orders are currently available, and early adopters will receive a special bonus: the Business Starter pack, which includes a decorative statue, a bakery display case, and a stylish desk lamp.
