Dominate as the Ultimate Sandlord in Torchlight: Infinite Season 8!
Torchlight: Infinite's eighth season, Sandlord, has officially launched and marks the game's most expansive season to date. This season introduces a plethora of new features that dramatically shift the gameplay dynamics, challenging players to construct a floating empire in the sky.
What’s in Store in Torchlight: Infinite’s Eighth Season Sandlord?
The centerpiece of the season is the Cloud Oasis, a city that you'll be managing. Here, you'll collect resources from the Netherrealm and convert them into tangible benefits by assigning workers to one of five professions. This system unlocks new trade routes, bonuses, and seasonal rewards, seamlessly blending ARPG combat with strategic simulation elements.
The character Thea undergoes a significant transformation this season. No longer the divine channeler, she has morphed into the Blasphemer, spreading desecration instead of blessings. Her new ability stacks Erosion Damage, which intensifies over time, adding a darker twist to her role.
The Deep Space region has been revamped, featuring five new stages teeming with monsters and survival challenges. A new item, Probes, has been introduced. Functioning similarly to Compasses but occupying a unique slot, Probes enhance both your rewards and the difficulty level of your adventures.
New Stages Are Here
The endgame experience is enriched with the addition of new Legendary Stages, which, though rare, offer unique loot setups that can alter your gameplay strategy. Some zones, like the Abyssal Vault, break from tradition by containing no enemies; instead, they're filled with Mystery Chests ready to be looted.
Conversely, the Sea of Rites introduces a non-aggressive goblin swarm. Eliminating them could potentially summon a secret boss, adding an element of surprise and strategy. The Supreme Showdown stage introduces the Golden Gaze mechanic, allowing both you and the bosses to transform enemies into treasure with the right hit, enhancing the thrill of combat.
As Torchlight: Infinite celebrates its second anniversary, you can now download the game from the Google Play Store and immerse yourself in the exciting new season.
