Developer Perspectives on The Edge of Fate
Bungie recently released a developer insights video exploring players' journey through Kepler in the upcoming expansion. The narrative focuses on Orin, the Emissary of the Nine, as she abandons her post to rejoin the Guardians.
The expansion delves into the Nine's internal power struggle while introducing fresh mysteries. Developers describe it as "a story about meaningful connections—where chance encounters reveal greater designs."

Gameplay innovations include World Tiers—scalable difficulty levels offering enhanced rewards. Higher tiers present tougher challenges with more valuable loot, encouraging strategic gameplay across Kepler's new landscapes.

The Edge of Fate begins Destiny 2's Year of the Prophecy, culminating in December's Star Wars: Renegades crossover event. Available on PlayStation, Xbox, and PC, the expansion launches July 15—stay tuned for updates.
