PlatinumGames Celebrates Bayonetta's 15th Anniversary with a Year of Festivities!

To commemorate fifteen years of the iconic Umbra Witch, PlatinumGames is launching a year-long celebration, expressing gratitude to fans for their unwavering support. The original Bayonetta, released October 29th, 2009 (Japan) and January 2010 (globally), captivated players with its innovative design and exhilarating gameplay, a hallmark of director Hideki Kamiya's signature style. This stylish action title, featuring Bayonetta's gun-fu prowess and magically-enhanced hair, quickly established her as a prominent figure among video game anti-heroines.

While Sega initially published the first Bayonetta, subsequent sequels became Nintendo exclusives, released on the Wii U and Nintendo Switch.
