AFK Journey's New Season, 'Chains of Eternity,' Unveiled

AFK Journey is a free-to-play RPG with regularly updated seasonal content. New seasons, featuring fresh maps, storylines, and heroes, launch every few months. Here's the release date for the upcoming AFK Journey season, "Chains of Eternity."

Chains of Eternity Season Release Date

The "Chains of Eternity" season arrives globally in AFK Journey on January 17th.

For players on other servers, the season unlocks once their server reaches 35 days old and they fulfill these requirements:

• Reach Resonance Level 240.
• Complete all pre-season AFK stages.

Meeting these conditions and having a server older than 35 days ensures access to the new season on the official release date.

Chains of Eternity: New Content

"Chains of Eternity" introduces a new map, story content, heroes, and bosses:

• Lorsan (Wilder)
• Elijah and Lailah (Celestial)
• Illucia (Dream Realm boss)

This season also brings significant changes: a daily cap on AFK progress, Paragon level adjustments, and Exclusive Equipment enhancements. Paragon levels will have a greater impact, and upgrading Exclusive Equipment from +15 to +20 receives a substantial boost. This means investing in existing Supreme+ units yields higher returns, though the investment cost increases significantly beyond +15.
