The Guardians of the Road initiative has been refreshed with a new application, offering a more convenient and enhanced user experience.

Become a Road Guard and help save lives!

Launched in 2016, the "Guardians of the Road - the road of all of us" project aims to raise awareness and promote safer, more cautious driving. Since January 1, 2023, the project has been managed by the "Safe Path" association.

Any individual aged 18 or older can download the "Road Guards" application and begin using it to record traffic violations.

The app is simple and quick to operate—activate it before you start driving, and when you witness a traffic offense, engage the reporting feature. You can trigger a report in one of two ways: using a voice command or pressing the Bluetooth button on your steering wheel. The app will then begin recording and documenting the incident.

These recordings are sent to a control center staffed by volunteer controllers with extensive traffic safety experience. After review, a "letter on the way" is sent to the documented individual, including a link to the violation video. For life-threatening offenses, the project's report is escalated to the police for further action.
