Zenless Zone Zero 1.7 'Bury Your Tears' Launching Soon

HoYoverse has officially announced the launch date for Zenless Zone Zero Version 1.7, titled 'Bury Your Tears with the Past,' set to release on April 23rd. This update marks the culmination of Season 1, promising a thrilling wrap-up to the ongoing narrative.

What’s in Store in Zenless Zone Zero Version 1.7?

The update will finally unravel the mystery surrounding the Sacrifice crisis. Players, as Proxies, will delve deeper into Vivian’s intricate backstory and discover the truth about Hugo’s fate, which has been a subject of much speculation. Following Hugo's dramatic fall into the Hollow, tensions between Mockingbird and TOPS have escalated, prompting the Mayor to dispatch a special Void Hunter-rank investigator.

Joining Vivian, Proxies will venture into hostile territory to locate the Sacrifice Core. Vivian's past will collide with the present as she confronts figures from her history, and the Exaltists’ conspiracy begins to unravel. Here’s the Character Lineup

Version 1.7 introduces two new S-Rank Agents from Mockingbird. Vivian, an Ether Anomaly Agent, gracefully maneuvers with a parasol and rapier, delivering substantial Corruption damage when combined with other characters’ EX Special Attacks. The second new character, Hugo, is an Ice Attack Agent equipped with a suitcase that transforms into a scythe. His attacks on stunned enemies trigger a Totalize effect, amplifying damage based on the remaining stun duration.

Additionally, Robin, the agile Bangboo partner of Mockingbird, will join the fray, using cards with random effects to support the team. Both Jane, the Physical Anomaly Agent, and Lighter, the Fire Stun Agent, will have rerun banners in Version 1.7.

Alongside the story and new characters, Version 1.7 will feature new events, including 'Say It With Flowers.' In this event, players can manage a flower shop, fulfill design requests, and craft floral arrangements for customers. Completing commissions will unlock a permanent floral arrangement mini-game in Quality Time mode, along with exclusive rewards.
