Konami is bringing the magic of the Yu-Gi-Oh! franchise to modern platforms with the Yu-Gi-Oh! Early Days Collection, set to launch on the Nintendo Switch and PC via Steam. This exciting announcement comes as part of the celebration of the Yu-Gi-Oh! card game's 25th anniversary, offering fans a chance to relive the nostalgia of classic games.

Konami Commemorates Yu-Gi-Oh!'s 25th Anniversary

Konami is thrilled to announce that the Yu-Gi-Oh! Early Days Collection is coming to the Switch and PC via Steam. This nostalgic package is designed to honor the 25th anniversary of the Yu-Gi-Oh! card game, featuring a selection of beloved classic titles.

The collection will initially include the following games:

• Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Monsters
• Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Monsters II: Dark Duel Stories
• Yu-Gi-Oh! Dark Duel Stories
• Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Monsters 4: Battle of Great Duelist
• Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Monsters 6, Expert 2

Konami has already announced Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Monsters 4: Battle of Great Duelist and Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Monsters 6 Expert 2 as part of this collection, with more games expected to be added. The full lineup of the 10 classic Yu-Gi-Oh! games will be revealed at a later date.

Originally released on Game Boy consoles, these early titles lacked some of the modern features fans are accustomed to today. However, Konami is enhancing the experience with the Yu-Gi-Oh! Early Days Collection. Players can look forward to online battle support, save/load functionality, and online play for games that originally featured local co-op. Additionally, the collection will offer quality-of-life improvements, revamped gameplay, and customizable button layouts and background settings.
