The story unfolds in a seaside village, embroiled in a centuries-old feud between humans and merpeople. This conflict leads a kingdom from the Continent to seek the services of a Witcher. Unlike his usual encounters with creatures like the Basilisk or Cockatrice, Geralt of Rivia is drawn into a confrontation with the enigmatic merpeople.

Dogue Cockle returns to voice the iconic Geralt, with Joey Batey and Anya Chalotra reprising their roles as Jaskier and Yennefer of Vengerberg. Adding a fresh face to the cast, Christina Wren, known from the Will Trent TV series, will voice the new character Essi Daven.

Given Rinde's proximity to the shores of Redania and Temeria, the film likely unfolds in this region. Specifically, if adhering to the setting of "A Little Sacrifice," the action could take place in Bremervoord City, Temeria, under the rule of Duke Agloval.
