Unlocking the Fire Seal in Fields of Mistria: A Guide

After the exciting March 10 update in *Fields of Mistria*, players can finally access the Fire Seal by clearing the preceding altars. To unlock this seal, you'll need to gather four specific items: a Faceted Rock Gem, Rockroot, Emerald, and a Sealing Scroll. Below, we guide you through obtaining each item and successfully unlocking the Fire Seal.

Where to Find Faceted Rock Gem in Fields of Mistria

The Faceted Rock Gem is a rare artifact hidden within the mines of *Fields of Mistria*. Ensure your game is updated, then delve into the mines until you reach Floors 50-59. We discovered the gem on Floor 56 after some dedicated digging. To unearth this treasure, use your pickaxe or shovel on marked spots on the ground. Be prepared for a bit of a grind, as the Faceted Rock Gem isn't easy to come by.

Where to Find Rockroot in Fields of Mistria

Rockroot, a common forageable, can be found between Floors 50-59 in the mines. If you're a regular miner, you might already have this item in your inventory. Look for a dark, root-like plant as shown in the image above. You'll only need one Rockroot to satisfy the Priestess' altar requirements.

Where to Find Emerald in Fields of Mistria

Emeralds are the easiest of the Fire Seal offerings to obtain. You can find Emerald geodes on Floors 50-59 in the mines, and they're quite common. If you haven't stored any, a quick mining session should suffice. Alternatively, you can break large boulders around Mistria to find Emeralds or purchase them at Balor's Wagon for just 200 tesserae. With the March 2025 update, you can also craft Emeralds at the new Stone Refinery location if you prefer not to search for them.

How to Get the Sealing Scroll in Fields of Mistria

The Sealing Scroll, the final item needed to break the Fire Seal, is part of a quest that starts after you meet Juniper and discover the seal. You'll need to enlist Balor's help to acquire the scroll, but it won't come cheap. To obtain the Sealing Scroll, you must provide:

• x10 Silver Ingots
• x10 Rubies
• x10 Sapphires
• x10 Emeralds

If you're short on any of these, the mines are a good place to search. Once you've gathered the required items, deposit them in the bin by Balor's Wagon to secure your Sealing Scroll.

Unlocking the Fire Seal

With the Sealing Scroll, Faceted Rock Gem, Emerald, and Rockroot in your inventory, return to Floor 60 of the mines to make your offering. This action will unlock the Fire Seal, revealing a new biome and more content to explore during Early Access.
