Ubisoft to Reveal Two Hours of Assassin's Creed Shadows Gameplay Tomorrow
During the upcoming stream, viewers will have the chance to see the main characters, Naoe and Yasuke, as they embark on thrilling quests, explore the vast expanses of Harima Province, and confront formidable opponents. The developers will not only showcase the gameplay but also engage with the audience, answering questions to provide insights into their approach to this exciting new installment of the series.
Set in the richly detailed world of feudal Japan, Assassin's Creed Shadows promises to immerse players in an atmosphere brimming with intrigue and samurai clashes. The game is slated for release on March 20, 2025, and will be available on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S.
Renowned insider Tom Henderson has shed light on the reasons behind the delay of Assassin's Creed Shadows to 2025. The postponement is aimed at rectifying historical and cultural inaccuracies, as well as enhancing the overall polish of the game. Despite circulating rumors, Yasuke will not be removed from the game, though Ubisoft plans to make adjustments to his storyline.
The challenges facing Shadows are multifaceted. Historical experts were consulted much later in the development process than ideal, and there have been significant misunderstandings among the development team. From a technical standpoint, the game is not yet ready for release. The developers are currently focused on fixing bugs and refining gameplay elements, with the latter requiring more time to implement effectively. According to Henderson, his sources are confident that Shadows will be ready for release on February 14, as the development team has sufficient time to complete the necessary enhancements.
