The company unveiled this exciting news alongside a captivating teaser trailer featuring trainers such as Marnie, Lillie, and N. The trailer also teased the potential comeback of Team Rocket-themed cards, sparking widespread excitement.

In the early days of the Pokémon TCG, Trainer’s Pokémon cards were a cherished staple. These cards showcase Pokémon owned by specific trainers or characters, featuring unique abilities and distinctive artwork that sets them apart from regular cards. Today's reveal included Lillie’s Clefairy ex, Marnie’s Grimmsnarl ex, N’s Zoroark ex, and N’s Reshiram, all of which promise to add a nostalgic yet fresh twist to the game.

The teaser also briefly showcased Mewtwo alongside Team Rocket's iconic symbol, hinting at the possible return of Team Rocket-themed cards or even the fan-favorite Dark Pokémon mechanic. Paradise Dragona, a Japanese subset focused on Dragon-type Pokémon, is set to be released in English as part of the Surging Sparks set in November 2024.

As fans eagerly await more official details, the TCG is currently concluding a wave of updates with the Kitikami chapter, which will culminate in the launch of the Shrouded Fable this month. According to the Pokémon TCG blog, Shrouded Fable will include 99 cards: 64 main cards and 35 secret rare cards, promising an exciting conclusion to this chapter.
