Battlestate Games has officially announced that *Escape from Tarkov*, their intense first-person shooter, will soon gain support for NVIDIA's DLSS 4. While the update is currently under testing, the developers have not yet specified whether it will include only upscaling or both upscaling and frame generation. Considering the game’s fast-paced, tactical nature, it would be wise to implement DLSS 4 in upscaler-only mode. Frame generation, while beneficial for visual smoothness, can introduce input lag—something that could significantly impact player responsiveness in a combat-heavy environment like Tarkov.

At this time, the team is actively evaluating how DLSS 4 integrates with the game engine, and players should expect the feature to become available in the near future. Alongside this development, Battlestate Games continues its ongoing efforts to address existing technical issues and improve overall game stability.

The rising demand for DLSS 4 among fans has clearly influenced progress in this area. NVIDIA’s DLSS technology utilizes advanced AI to enhance image quality, boost frame rates, and reduce visual artifacts—making it a powerful tool for performance optimization without compromising graphical fidelity.

Still, the announcement has received a mixed response from the community. While some players welcome the potential performance improvements DLSS 4 may bring, others have voiced concerns, suggesting that developer resources might be better spent addressing other long-standing gameplay and technical issues within the game.
