Bloomtown: 1960s Americana RPG Launches on Android

Bloomtown: A Different Story has officially launched on mobile with its 1.0 release. This social, narrative-driven JRPG blends turn-based combat with monster taming mechanics. It's set in a charming, 1960s Americana-inspired world, all rendered in classic JRPG pixel art style.
With a slice-of-life exploration
The game's atmosphere shifts between wholesome small-town life and a sense of creeping unease. Taking place in the early 1960s, the story centers on Emily and her younger brother Chester.
They arrive in Bloomtown expecting a peaceful summer at their grandfather's house. However, the town's idyllic facade quickly crumbles. Local children start disappearing, and nightmares become disturbingly real.
On the surface, Bloomtown appears to be a perfect, postcard-ready community complete with a cinema, grocery stores, parks, and a library. Yet this picturesque setting conceals a much darker world.
Beneath the town lies the Underside, a demon-plagued realm where the fears and vices of the residents manifest as grotesque physical forms. It delivers a strong Stranger Things vibe!
Playing as Emily, you'll uncover the mystery behind the vanishings. You'll join forces with friends and confront the horrors hiding just out of sight. Get a glimpse of the game in the video below.
What’s the combat like in Bloomtown: A Different Story?
Combat unfolds through a turn-based tactical system that emphasizes teamwork. You'll battle massive dungeon bosses and chaotic encounters against creatures from the Underside.
You can summon inner demons and even capture weakened enemies during fights. These captured creatures then join your roster. A fusion system allows you to experiment with various synergies and build unique team combinations.
Between dungeon crawls and unsettling discoveries, Emily can experience a relatively normal summer. She can work out at the gym, earn cash with shifts at the grocery store, build friendships, or simply relax in a garden.
