The Nvidia GeForce RTX 5060 Ti graphics card was introduced on April 16 as the most affordable Blackwell GPU currently available. However, it was another "paper" launch, with actual retail units scarce and often available only at a significant markup. The good news is that if you're in the market for a prebuilt gaming PC featuring this new GPU, your options are more promising. There are numerous prebuilt gaming PCs readily available, and they're priced reasonably. The most budget-friendly options we've come across are from Skytech at Amazon, starting at just $1,249.99. This is an excellent price point for a modern gaming rig capable of handling 1080p and 1440p resolutions.

The RTX 5060 Ti is the follow-up to the RTX 4060 Ti, offering an impressive 15%-20% performance boost in games. This improvement is even better than the generational leap seen with the RTX 5070 over the RTX 4070. From a value standpoint, the RTX 5060 Ti is the best Blackwell card for 1080p gaming, and it's more than capable of delivering solid performance at 1440p, especially when using DLSS 4. While the RTX 5070 is more powerful, prebuilt systems with this GPU start at $1,700-$1,800. For gamers targeting 1440p or lower resolutions, the price difference is difficult to justify.

GeForce RTX 5060 Ti Review by James Archer (Rock Paper Shotgun)

"The RTX 5060 Ti upholds the tradition of the XX60 Ti series by delivering smooth, yet relatively budget-friendly performance at 1440p. Compared to the more expensive RTX 5070, it makes a significant effort to advance native-resolution, pre-DLSS frame rates beyond those of the 40 series.

As such, the RTX 5060 Ti stands out as one of the more successful RTX 50 series cards, making it the go-to choice for budget-conscious gamers aiming for at least 1440p performance."
