SaGa-Inspired DLC

Today, the eagerly anticipated free DLC for Vampire Survivors, titled the Emerald Diorama, was released, marking a significant crossover with Square Enix's iconic JRPG series, SaGa. This update stands as the game's most substantial expansion to date, introducing a rich blend of JRPG elements into the survival shooter genre.

Emerald Diorama Infuses JRPG Elements into Vampire Survivors

The Emerald Diorama DLC breathes new life into Vampire Survivors with a captivating new stage designed like a mini world map, evoking a sense of world-hopping reminiscent of classic JRPGs. This update introduces over a dozen new characters, ranging from puppeteers to singers of cursed melodies, each adding unique flair to your adventures.

Players will discover more than 16 new weapons and a novel Glimmer system, allowing for the random acquisition of new skills during runs, enhancing strategic depth and replayability. Additionally, the soundtrack expands with nine new music tracks, further immersing players in the game's evolving universe.

To unlock the Emerald Diorama, navigate to Moongolow and engage with the new merchant to purchase the Emerald Disk for 50,000 gold. From there, you can progressively unlock the content. The DLC also introduces character parties, enabling players to form mini squads for their runs.

Complementing the DLC are two new Adventures, mini-campaigns each featuring six chapters. "To End an Ice Age" enhances the base game, while "Tides of the Foscari" adds to the new content introduced by the Emerald Diorama.

Simultaneously, Another Free Update Enhances the Base Game

Alongside the DLC, Vampire Survivors received another free update, dubbed The Coop, which introduces a whimsical chicken-themed element. This update brings Gazebo, a new chicken character, along with a new weapon and a relic that accelerates gameplay. Players can earn numerous achievements and unlock Darkana, with the full potential of The Coop unlocked by collecting 500 lifetime floor chickens.

For an optimal experience with The Coop, refrain from killing anything for the first minute of gameplay to unlock the Gaze of Gaea. Evolving this with Parm Aegis will further unlock Gazebo, adding a fun twist to your runs.

Both the Emerald Diorama DLC and The Coop update are available for free, and you can download Vampire Survivors from the Google Play Store. The latest updates also support cross-platform saving, allowing you to continue your progress seamlessly across PC, Xbox, Android, and iOS.
