Roselia Spotlight Hour Guide
-----------------------------Mark your calendars for January 14th, 2025, from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM, as Roselia takes center stage during this week's Spotlight Hour. To maximize your gains, make sure to stock up on berries, Poké Balls, and incense. This particular Spotlight Hour comes with an exciting x2 Catch XP bonus, providing a fantastic opportunity to level up swiftly.
Roselia, a Grass and Poison-type Pokémon from the Hoenn region (Generation 3), boasts a maximum Combat Power of 2114 CP, with 186 Attack and 131 Defense. It's part of a three-stage evolution: Budew evolves into Roselia with 25 Candies, and Roselia evolves into Roserade with 100 Candies and a Sinnoh Stone. Catching Roselia will net you three candies and 100 Stardust, making it a valuable addition to your collection.
Roselia can be traded within Pokémon GO and transferred to Pokémon Home. As a Grass and Poison-type, it's vulnerable to Fire, Flying, Ice, and Psychic-type attacks, taking 160% more damage from these. Conversely, it resists Electric, Fairy, Fighting, and Water-type attacks, with a 63% damage reduction, and has a significant resistance to Grass-type attacks at 39%. For optimal performance, equip Roselia with Poison Jab and Sludge Bomb, which deliver 10.96 DPS and 99.91 TDO, and are especially potent in Cloudy Weather.
Keep an eye out for the Shiny version of Roselia, characterized by its brighter green body and purple and black roses. To increase your chances of encountering a Shiny Roselia, make use of incense and berries to ensure you can catch one if it appears.
