Back in January, Bluepoch Games thrilled fans with the announcement of an exciting collaboration between Reverse: 1999 and Ubisoft's iconic Assassin’s Creed franchise. Now, more details have surfaced about this much-anticipated crossover, which will introduce Ezio Auditore da Firenze as a playable character. The collaboration will spotlight two beloved entries in the AC series: Assassin’s Creed II and Assassin’s Creed Odyssey.
The teaser released in January set the stage with a captivating scene of Vertin navigating a rainy street, the Assassin’s Creed logo glowing ominously in the background, hinting at the thrilling adventures to come.
Get Ready to Welcome Ezio from Assassin’s Creed into Reverse: 1999!
The full plan for the crossover has been unveiled, scheduled to launch across Android, iOS, and PC in August 2025. Beyond the inclusion of Ezio, the Reverse: 1999 x Assassin’s Creed collaboration promises a wealth of new content.
The event is divided into two exciting phases, each featuring unique Assassin’s Creed-themed stories and events. Phase I will transport players to the heart of Renaissance Florence, where Vertin and her team will navigate the 15th-century Italian landscape, unraveling cryptic clues.
Phase II shifts the scene to ancient Greece, immersing players in the world of Assassin’s Creed Odyssey. Fans of the game will find familiar events and settings as Vertin's team delves into this historical period.
It’s a Special Crossover
This crossover marks a significant milestone for Reverse: 1999, as it will be the first time the game's servers worldwide will be synchronized, ensuring that all players can access the event content simultaneously.
Reverse: 1999 is a unique time-traveling RPG that blends modern and retro aesthetics. Players assume the role of Vertin, the Timekeeper, who is immune to a mysterious phenomenon called The Storm. Following these storms, entire eras vanish, prompting Vertin and her partner Sonetto to traverse different time periods and rescue other arcanists sensitive to these temporal shifts.
