"Reverse: 1999 Launches Chinatown Showdown Update Part One"
If you've been eagerly anticipating the Hong Kong cinema-inspired "Showdown in Chinatown" update for Reverse: 1999, the wait is finally over! Version 2.5, part one, is now live, bringing with it a host of exciting new content, including limited and five-star characters.
In "Showdown in Chinatown," the notorious arcanist criminal Nightpiercer resurfaces in Los Angeles. Officer Liang Yue, assigned by the Vigiles Bureau, joins forces with the Division of Arcane Affairs to bring Nightpiercer to justice once and for all.
Liang Yue is introduced as a limited-time character in the "Moonbeam Guardian" Dushuo Limited Banner. Alongside her, a free garment for the fan-favorite character, Windsong, is available to all players. With a total of 40 free pulls available through various rewards and events, you have ample opportunities to add these and other top characters to your roster.
Two new challenges await with special rewards: "When the Alarm Sounds" and the board game-themed "Critter Crash," both available until the 29th. These events offer a range of rewards, from Limited Portraits to a new garment.
The traditional Chinese-style dress that Liang Yue wears inspires a new garment series called "Old Stories New Perspectives," available for characters Jiu Niangzi, Tuesday, Sotheby, The Fool, and Windsong.
Don't miss out on the new limited building, where you can collect Red Envelopes through tasks and minigames. These can be exchanged for various rewards, including 5-star insight coupons, portraits, and growth materials.
