Following a minor leak last week, Electronic Arts (EA) has officially unveiled the title of its upcoming Star Wars game: Star Wars: Zero Company. The development is being spearheaded by Bit Reactor, with collaborative support from Lucasfilm Games and Respawn. The first and only official artwork for the game has been released, setting the stage for what fans can expect.

Details about Star Wars: Zero Company are still scarce, but we know it will be a "single-player turn-based tactics game." Fans won't have to wait long for more insights, as EA has scheduled a first look at the game for April 19 during Star Wars Celebration in Japan.

Bit Reactor, the studio behind Star Wars: Zero Company, is a newly-formed strategy game studio established in 2022. It comprises industry veterans from renowned titles such as XCOM, Civilization, Gears of War, and Elder Scrolls Online. While it was previously known that Bit Reactor was working on a Star Wars project with Respawn, this marks the first time concrete details have been shared about the game.

Regarding Respawn's role in the project, the specifics of their involvement remain somewhat unclear. Respawn has faced several challenges recently, including the cancellation of their own Star Wars FPS project last year, mass layoffs at EA, and the termination of another multiplayer FPS incubation project just last month.

Additional information about Star Wars: Zero Company will be unveiled at a live panel on Saturday, April 19 at 4:30pm local time in Japan. For fans in the U.S., that translates to 12:30am PT and 3:30am ET, so be sure to set your alarms to catch the latest updates on this highly anticipated title.
