Littoral Games introduces a new title for Android enthusiasts with A Perfect Day Pocket – Go back to 1999. If you've enjoyed their previous hits, Growing Up and Chinese Parents, you'll find the same cozy atmosphere in this game. The art style remains reminiscent of Growing Up, featuring enchanting water-colored hand-painted visuals that are expressive enough to carry the story forward on their own.

During its launch week, from February 27th to March 5th, A Perfect Day – Go back to 1999 is available at a special price of $1.99 on Android. After the launch week, the price will increase to $2.99. If you pre-registered for the game, don't forget to visit Brother Cao at the Youth Palace to claim your exclusive Panda Quake Mini 4WD. Additionally, keep an eye out for the limited-time Easter egg, the Old Uniform, hidden in ‘My Bedroom’ until March 26th.

What’s the Premise of A Perfect Day – Go Back to 1999?

As the title suggests, A Perfect Day – Go Back to 1999 takes you back to the year 1999, a hallmark of Littoral Games' nostalgic storytelling set in the 90s and early 2000s. In this game, you step into the shoes of an elementary schoolboy caught in a time loop on the last day of the year—December 31st, 1999. Similar to the movie Groundhog Day, you'll find yourself reliving this day in a narrative puzzle format.

A Perfect Day – Go Back to 1999 offers seven time segments, eleven main characters, twenty event cards, and one free DLC. Your mission is to uncover secrets about your classmates, friends, and family, striving to help them achieve their 'perfect day' within the loop.

Repeat, Revisit, and Rewrite

The game delves into themes of memories, regrets, and choices. You have the opportunity to revisit childhood friendships, explore the lives of your young parents, and make decisions that influence the narrative. The story unfolds through an interconnected structure, offering varied outcomes as you repeat the same day.

Adding to the nostalgic charm, A Perfect Day includes several mini-games that capture the essence of 90s gaming, such as a Mini 4WD race, a Gamicom console, and an arcade. With its interactive storytelling and evocative visuals, this game is definitely worth exploring.
