May 2025 in Pokémon GO is set to be an exciting month packed with a variety of events and raid opportunities. The highlight of the month is undoubtedly the return of the Lake Trio, making a comeback in 5-Star Raids across multiple regions. What Does Pokémon GO Have in Store for May 2025?

Kicking off the month, Tapu Fini will be available in Five-Star Raids from May 1st to May 12th. This Pokémon will bring its special move, Nature's Madness, and there will be a chance to encounter its Shiny form.

Following Tapu Fini, the Lake Trio will take the stage starting May 12th. Depending on your location, you'll have the opportunity to encounter Uxie in the Asia-Pacific region, Mesprit in Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and India, and Azelf in the Americas and Greenland. After the Lake Trio's appearance, Tapu Bulu will take over the Five-Star Raids from May 25th to June 3rd, 2025. Like Tapu Fini, Tapu Bulu will also feature Nature's Madness and the possibility of encountering its Shiny variant.

For those interested in Mega Raids, May 2025 offers a robust lineup. From May 1st to 12th, you can challenge Mega Houndoom. Following that, Mega Gyarados will be available from May 12th to 25th, and Mega Altaria will round out the month from May 25th to June 3rd.

The month is filled with diverse events starting with the "Growing Up" event from May 2nd to 7th, and a Mega Kangaskhan Raid Day on May 3rd. From May 10th to 18th, the "Crown Clash" event will take place, with the "Dynamax Suicune Max Battle Weekend" scheduled for May 10th and 11th.

On May 11th, a Community Day will occur, though the featured Pokémon remains a mystery for now. "Crown Clash: Taken Over" will run from May 14th to 18th, and a Shadow Raid Day is set for May 17th.
