These exclusive items are available at participating McDonald's stores until supplies last. Remember, TCG Pocket’s rewards expire on March 31, 2025, so be sure to redeem them before the deadline.
Pokemon TCG Pocket’s Upcoming Trade Feature
On January 17, 2025, Pokémon TCG Pocket announced details about its upcoming trade feature via Twitter (X). Trades can only be conducted between friends, and the cards must be of the same rarity. Cards ranging from 1-4 diamonds and 1-star rarity are eligible for trading, while rarer cards like Special Illustration Rare, Immersive, and Crown Rares are excluded. An item must be consumed to facilitate the trade, similar to the Stardust used in Pokémon GO.
Certain cards from the Genetic Apex (A1) and Mythical Island booster packs are currently available for trade, with the TCG Pocket team promising to expand the card selection in the future. They stated, "We’ll continue to monitor player feedback and assess future updates to the trade feature while keeping in mind how to balance both the ease and enjoyability of collecting."
Additionally, a new booster pack is set to be released this January, though the exact date remains undisclosed.
