"Pokemon GO Announces Upcoming Gigantamax Debut at Future Event"

Summary

  • Gigantamax Kingler debuts in Pokemon GO on February 1 during the Max Battle Day event.
  • Players can use Max Mushrooms to boost damage in battles.
  • Event bonuses include increased Max Particle collection, Power Spot battles, and XP rewards.

Pokemon GO enthusiasts are in for a treat as Gigantamax Kingler makes its debut on February 1. Since the introduction of the much-anticipated Dynamax and Gigantamax forms last year, Niantic has been steadily expanding the roster of these unique variants available in the game.

Gigantamax is a specialized form of Dynamax that not only amplifies a Pokemon's size and strength but also alters its appearance and grants it powerful G-Max Moves. While the main series games feature 32 Pokemon capable of Gigantamaxing, Pokemon GO currently has six, with Gigantamax Lapras being the latest addition. The list is set to grow with the upcoming event.

Notably, the return of Shadow Ho-Oh during a Shadow Raid Day on January 19, and the introduction of more Galar Pokemon to Pokemon GO in the coming days.
