Pikmin Bloom's Earth Day Event: Count Flowers, Not Steps in Party Walk

Today marks Earth Day, and Pikmin Bloom has introduced a fresh way to celebrate through its Party Walk event. This time, instead of focusing on your steps, the event encourages you to plant more flowers. If you're a fan of Niantic's augmented reality, location-based game, you won't want to miss out on this exciting new event.

When Is the Pikmin Bloom Party Walk?

Pikmin Bloom's special Earth Day-themed Official Party Walk runs from April 22nd to April 30th. Rather than tracking your steps as usual, you'll be keeping count of the flowers you plant. Each bloom contributes to the global total.

During the event, planting flowers is essential if you want to make a contribution. This aligns perfectly with the Earth Day spirit, promoting more greenery and purpose. Pikmin Bloom is rewarding your efforts in a fun way, too.

Depending on the collective number of flowers planted during the event, players can unlock weather-themed Decor Pikmin through Huge Seedlings.

Here’s what you can unlock: if the total reaches 500 million flowers, everyone who participates will receive a Huge Seedling that grows into a Leaf Hat Decor Pikmin. If the total hits 1 billion flowers, you'll unlock a Snow Decor Pikmin.

But if players manage to plant 1.5 billion flowers, there's a Huge Seedling for a Present Sticker (Gold) Decor Pikmin, specifically for White Pikmin.

But Keep This in Mind

Remember, your flowers won't count towards the total unless you officially join the Pikmin Bloom Party Walk. Ensure you've updated the app to version 117 and signed up correctly. If you haven't already, download the game from the Google Play Store.

To make planting flowers a bit easier, everyone participating will receive a promo code. All types of flowers contribute to the goal, so don't worry about planting any specific kind. Just get out there and start blooming.
