The Primitive Challenge is one of the toughest weekly challenges in Phasmophobia. It strips you of all electronic devices, leaving you to rely solely on your intuition and understanding of ghost behavior to identify and complete investigations. This challenge is set at 10 Ridgeview Court, a house-style map that's easier to navigate. To fully conquer this challenge, you need to successfully complete three investigations.
Tips & Tricks To Complete Primitive Challenge in Phasmophobia
Navigating this challenge without electronics means you'll have to adapt to a very limited loadout. No Flashlights, no DOTs Projectors, no Video Cameras—everything electronic is off-limits.

You start with full Sanity, which is a small blessing, but Sanity Medication is also unavailable. Your equipment includes two Tier 1 Crucifixes to prevent ghost hunts, Tier 2 Firelights, and a full set of Tier 1 Incense for additional protection. For evidence gathering, you're equipped with two Tier 3 Ghost Writing books, two Tier 1 UV lights (which double as your flashlights), and two Tier 1 thermometers to check for freezing temperatures.
To succeed, you'll need to sharpen your paranormal intuition. Each ghost has unique behaviors that can help you identify them without traditional evidence. Our no-evidence cheat sheet can be a valuable resource here.

Your first step should be locating the ghost as quickly as possible. The increased ghost activity in this challenge should help. Alternatively, you can use the Ouija Board found in the laundry room on the first floor. Ask the ghost its "favorite room" to pinpoint its location, but remember, this will cost you 50% of your sanity. Always say "Goodbye" to the board afterward to avoid triggering a Cursed Hunt. This method is especially useful in group settings.
