Patch Quest Merges Bullet Hell with Monster Taming
Patch Quest from Lychee Game has officially launched on Android, with Crunchyroll handling the distribution. Originally debuting in PC early access back in May 2021, the game saw its full release in March 2023. It masterfully blends multiple genres—roguelike, bullet hell, metroidvania, and monster-taming—into one cohesive experience.
Navigate a Dynamically Generated Monster-Filled World in Patch Quest
Set in the ever-changing island of Patchlantis, each playthrough reshuffles the terrain, ensuring unique adventures every time.
Your trusty lasso serves as both a tool and lifeline. With it, you can capture and tame over 50 distinct monster species, not counting their subspecies—each offering unique traversal and combat advantages.
Every creature can be tamed, ridden, and utilized to overcome environmental challenges. Some soar through skies, others swim across waters, while certain species burrow underground or navigate treacherous pathways. The Buzzerker transforms into a living projectile, the Sandamander tunnels to safety, the Torrentoise deflects attacks with its sturdy shell, and the Combusdile creates fire-based defenses.

What Makes the Combat Unique?
The game throws players into intense bullet-hell battles where enemies unleash waves of projectiles as you master mounted abilities. Each failure teaches valuable lessons—whether unlocking shortcuts, strengthening companions, or deepening your understanding of the island's mechanics.
Discover over 200 collectible plants and minerals across Patchlantis. Transform fruits into potent ammunition buffs by crafting them into smoothies, or use them to acquire gear that enhances mobility and combat capabilities.
