Monster Hunter Wilds: Unique Weapon Designs Revealed
Many *Monster Hunter: World* players voiced their disappointment with the game's weapon designs, sparking concerns about whether *Monster Hunter Wilds* would follow suit. While initial glimpses of *Wilds*' weapons weren't conclusive, Director Yuya Tokuda has addressed these concerns directly.
Regarding the Hope series armor and weapons, Tokuda explained: “In *Monster Hunter: World*, weapon designs generally maintained a similar base form, with variations based on monster materials. However, in *Wilds*, each weapon boasts a completely unique design.”
This statement directly contrasts *Monster Hunter: World*'s approach. While some *World* weapons became unique through upgrades, many weapon lines retained significant similarities. The image below showcases this, comparing the final upgraded Aqua and Bone weapon sets to their Pukei-Pukei and Jyuratodus counterparts respectively. These examples represent the highest upgrade levels available at *World*'s launch.
In contrast, the slideshow below displays *Monster Hunter Wilds'* weapons, all of which demonstrate distinct and unique designs.
