Despite launching in a much-improved state compared to its predecessor, Kingdom Come: Deliverance II still faces the typical technical challenges seen in expansive RPGs with ambitious scopes. Warhorse Studios remains dedicated to enhancing the game post-launch, with their upcoming patch poised to be a significant undertaking.

In a recent interview with Tech4gamers, Tobias Stolz-Zwilling, the global PR manager, revealed that the forthcoming patch has been in development for over five months and will address over 1,000 bugs.

"This patch has been in development for over five months and includes well over a thousand fixes."

The gaming community is buzzing with anticipation, not only for these bug fixes but also for potential new gameplay mechanics or quality-of-life improvements. Given the extensive development time, there's a strong hope for substantial enhancements, though details will remain under wraps until the full patch notes are released.

Additionally, Warhorse Studios has announced that Kingdom Come: Deliverance II will introduce official mod support within the next two weeks. However, the initial modding capabilities will be limited; for example, players won't be able to create custom missions right away. The studio plans to expand these modding tools in future updates. While no specific release date for the patch has been announced yet, the community eagerly awaits further updates.
