Heavy Metal, one of the most iconic anthology magazines in the world of comics, is making a triumphant return to comic book stores. Following a highly successful crowdfunding effort, the new volume of Heavy Metal is set to hit shelves on Wednesday, April 30, and we couldn't be more thrilled.

With a print run of 73,000 copies, Heavy Metal #1 marks the highest print volume for the series in decades. Priced at $14.99, this issue spans 232 pages of thrilling content.

Mark your calendars: Heavy Metal #1 will be available at comic book shops starting April 30 and at newsstands from May 13. The series is planned for quarterly releases, but the publisher hints at the possibility of a more frequent schedule should demand surge.
