Get ready, Gundam fans! The official announcement of a GUNDAM Trading Card Game (TCG) has arrived! A promotional video was shared on the official GUNDAM TCG X (formerly Twitter) account on September 27th, launching the "#GUNDAM" global TCG project. This exciting news coincides with the Mobile Suit Gundam 45th anniversary, commemorating 45 years since the series debuted worldwide. Whether the game will be solely physical or include online play remains to be seen.Complete details will be revealed on October 3rd at 7 PM JST during Bandai's CARD GAMES Next Plan Announcement. This event will be live-streamed on Bandai's official YouTube channel and feature popular actors Kanata Hongo and Kotoko Sasaki, along with former TV Tokyo announcer Shohei Taguchi. Hongo, a passionate GUNPLA builder, participated in the GUNPLA 40th Anniversary Project in 2020, demonstrating his deep love for both GUNPLA and the Gundam franchise.
Anticipation is high among fans, reminiscent of Bandai's previous (now discontinued) TCGs like Super Robot Wars V Crusade and Gundam War.
